My cute Husband talked me into getting a new puppy. I had said, " I love English Bulldogs." I never said, "I think we should get one." BUT... I gave in and I kinda like her ALOT. With a new puppy comes a lot of extra responsibility. Today I want to show you my little dog station that I created to keep my life a little more organized, and share a little about life with a new puppy.
First off, I would like to introduce you to our sweet Zaylee. She is 7 months old. We got her when she was 5 months. She is an English Bulldog. She's the sweetest little thing.
That face. Gets me every time. I hate dog hair. I hate it on my couch, and I really hate it on my black work clothes. So, with a new dog comes along a few extra chores.
I have been absolutely loving the new Scotch-Brite™ 50% Stickier Lint Roller that I picked up at Target. These are currently on the Cartwheel app for 15% off until 11/26. I love it because it is 8 inches wide and picks up not just the dog hair, but all my kids crumbs too.
I use it on my couch and on all my throw pillows every day. It saves me so much time. I don't have to vacuum every day. Then when I am headed out the door I grab the smaller one and clean off my clothes before I head to work.
I created this little dog station by my back door so that I could keep all things dog in one place. If you want to create your own It super easy.
What you need:
2 Glass Jars (Target)
Vinyl Decals. You can make some or find some on Etsy. I made mine using my silhouette.
Galvanized Tray (Target)
These are my essentials that I keep in one of my jars, and in the other is her dog food. Having the Scotch-Brite™ 50% Stickier Lint Roller by the back door is so convenient.
I have really enjoyed having her. It has also taught my kids some responsibility. They are in charge of feeding her and making sure she is getting let out to go to the bathroom. I think having a family pet is really great for kids. Not only do they experience a different kind of bond and love, but it teaches them some responsibility.
Check out more ways to use these fancy lint rollers here. I can't live without them
