I have spent countless hours putting together this vision board for our cute little camper renovation. When we first bought I wanted to do all these bright retro fun colors, but after thinking long and hard about it I decided to go more simplistic... Does that surprise you? I didn't want to get tired of it after the first year. This way we can change the small things whenever we want. The intent of our little camper is getting as much use out of it as possible. So it has to be practical but still super cute. :)
I saw this picture of this camper on Pinterest and knew I wanted something exactly like it. That doesn't happen very often. I usually can't make my mind up about anything. So I made my husband buy the paint right then, so I couldn't change my mind. So it's an off white with a celery green color and polish silver as accents.
I wanted all white walls. Am I crazy? None of the walls have much open space so I figured I could get away with it. We will use good paint so we can easily wipe them down if we need to. So we have hung tongue and groove on the walls in the biggest spots, and of course they will be painted white. The cabinets will also be white.
I haven't completely made up my mind on the floors or the ceiling. AHH.. But I love the look of this grayish flooring. It's so fun.
This is the fun part. As of right now I am planning to do the seats black vinyl with white piping. Then accent with fun pillows. I love these two fabrics. The deer head is perfect for a camper and the little campers are fitting for space as well. I will probably mix and match a bunch of different fabrics. We have a long couch on one side that will need a few pillows.
Now I have been going back and forth about doing this buffalo check as curtains or as wallpaper. Right now I am thinking curtains. HELP ME.... Tell me what you would do. I love the idea of the black and white against the white walls. I have no clue what I would do for curtains if I did this for wallpaper.
Decor for a camper? YES.... We have a little spot where we could have a cute wall sconce and I love this one. I would probably paint it gold. But I just wanted one that has one of these cool light bulbs. I am going to change out all the hardware to gold. I am kinda going for an industrial feel so wire baskets and numbers will work great. Finally, no space is complete without a boxwood wreath.
This is where I am at right now. Things might change a little but for the most part I am loving everything about this.
Thanks for sharing this fun project with me.
