As a Mom we are always worried about making sure we have everything that the kids need or the husband needs, and we often forget about ourselves. Or we are in a rush and don't have time. I know I always do this. Let's be honest even as Mom's we have those OH CRAP moments. Those times when we think umm... my period isn't supposed to come for three days. WHAT!!! Or I am pretty sure I left the house with no deodorant and no one wants to be subject to that. You get what I mean. I can't be the only one who runs into these situations. So I put together an "Oh Crap" bag for these kinds of situations. This would even work perfectly for teenage girls to keep in their lockers or backpacks at school.

You could keep this bag in your car or if it fits you can keep in your purse.

U by Kotex CleanWear® by U- Don't these maxi pads come in the cutest packaging ever. People won't even know what they are. With the new technology applied in Kotex's new pad, women can now be more confident in wearing whatever they want when they are wearing them. They have fast absorption to help stop leaks. The uniquely shaped wings help to secure the pad comfortably. These are an essential for any women/girl. These come in really handy as a panty liner to, because after you have had a couple kids sometimes you just have to wear a panty liner even if it's not that time of the month. Am I right? You can find more monthly survival inspirations here.

Bic Simply Soleil Razor- Having a razor is handy. Especially for that tiny missed spot on the back of your leg that's driving you crazy. I would never shave my whole leg without just a razor and soap, but if I have a tiny spot that I can get really quick with a leftover bottle of water in my back seat it's nice to have a razor with me. Because sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures.

E O S Chapstick- I can't ever be without one of these. I use it at least 5 times a day. No joke. Favorite lip balm of all time.

Makeup- With mascara and a little bit of concealer you can fix any bad situation. I have been known to have a full face of makeup on and I get in the car and have and "oh crap" moment and realize that I have forgotten mascara. This happens to me more often than I would like to admit. A little concealer will cover up any of those unwanted spots that come from your period.

Bandaids- You just never know when you might need a bandaid. Especially if you out in a pair of heels all day.

Deodorant- Even if you put some on in the morning you might need to freshen up throughout the day.

Kleenex- These are another one of those just in case things.

Hair Tie- I find I leave the house with cute looking hair and then on my way home from my outing my hair goes up in a top knot because I can't be bothered any longer.

Tooth Brush and Tooth Paste- You don't want to have nasty teeth or breath.

Everything fits perfectly into this darling little bag that I got from Forever 21. Now go put yourself together an "oh crap" bag so you aren't caught in one of those dreaded situations. You can find the products mentioned at Wal-greens and right now if you Buy $15 of participating U by Kotex / EOS / BIC products you get 3,000 Balance Reward Points. Which is awesome.

Are you prepared for those unexpected moments that we have as women?

  11. This is SO clever! My cycle was 3 weeks late this time, and I just thought it wasn't ever going to come (perimenopause is awesome - NOT), so I wasn't prepared when it finally made its messy debut. And I really needed a razor at the beach yesterday when I realized I missed an enormous patch in a certain place people don't want to see stray hairs. OOPS! #client
