I love trying out new drugstore products. I have said before that I like high-end makeup, but there is a lot of drugstore products that I like. When I saw this Covergirl The Super Sizer Mascara at Walgreens and read the packaging and it said will give you 400x corner to corner volume I had to try it out. Really? 400x that's a pretty huge claim if you ask me.
The wand is a plastic wand and its a weird shape with one side being almost completely flat. The bristles are really short. After first glance, I was like no way is this going to do anything for my lashes.
This is me without any mascara. I do have pretty long eyelashes so I really want something that will give them some volume.
Here is just one coat of mascara on my eye.
So what are mine overall thoughts? I had to try this mascara SEVERAL times before I really could really form any opinion. I didn't like it at first. It really didn't wow me and definitely didn't give my lashes 400x more volume. I don't know why, but I get this everywhere when I am applying it. After putting it to the test for several weeks, it really started to grow on me. Maybe it was because it kinda started to dry out a little bit and wasn't so wet. I love the wand for the bottom lashes ALOT. It's not my favorite mascara. I probably won't repurchase it only because there is other mascara I like more.
If you want to purchase this you can find it anywhere. I got mine at Wal-greens for $6.99, but you can always find Covergirl products on sale. So never pay full price.
