How To Cover Dark Circles

I have some serious under eye circles most days due to lack of sleep. I have trouble sleeping most nights. So I am always looking for something to cover them up. Just regular concealer does not do the trick for me. Today I am going to share with you what is currently working for me.

I purchased the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage duo a while ago and didn't like it at all. I was actually going to return it to Sephora, but never made it back to one in time to return it. I am so glad that I didn't, because its working so good for me right now. This little duo comes two colors a skin tone color and then a salmon color.

This day my dark circles were not super bad, but they look better in the picture than they actually were in real life. The darkest spot is right in the corner of my eye. PS. Trying to take your own pictures is HARD. Thats why my chin is cut off :) But your only supposed to me looking at my eyes anyway... Right?

I only use the salmon colored product. I put this on BEFORE I put on my foundation. My suggestion would be to make sure that you are using some kind of eye cream so that your under eyes are nice and hydrated. I blend that in with my finger and then go over top with my foundation and it does such a great job covering up the darkness. When I applied this on top of my foundation its WAY to heavy and looks horrible.

I just apply my foundation as normal not applying a ton more product to the area. I just make sure that I blend them together really nicely.  Once I have foundation on I will use a lighter concealer like the Maybelline Fit Me to brighten up my under eyes. I think it looks really great. Now if I could cover up those fine lines and wrinkles I would be set. :)

I hope you found this helpful. I am still looking for a drugstore product that does the same thing. So when it I will let you know. :)
