Its no secret that I have a real problem with buying washi tape. I LOVE it. It just makes me happy. I also love to give washi tape as gifts to people, but a lot of the time they ask me what to do with it. I do lots of different things with it. So here are a few ways I like to use washi tape.
First off I know some people are going to ask where I buy my washi. ALL OVER. Almost every store sells washi tape. Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Joann Fabrics, Target, Walmart, and even the dollar store. You can find REALLY cute ones on Etsy. They are usually a little bit more expensive, but you will find different ones that you can't find at a store on there. Also if you don't follow me on Facebook you should, because when I see good deals on washi tape or anything else I usually post about it on there.
I am really big into planners right now. Not only because you can decorate them really cute, but they have really helped me get organized with different aspects in my life. Being able to see things on paper has given me motivation to get things done and to really make an effort. If you want to see one of my planner post you can check it out here. I am no longer using that type of planner I am using this one. If you would like to see more about it let me know. I am planning a few post about it.
This binder I use to file away bills after they have been paid. The dividers are cheap ones from target. I liked them because there were white, but the tabs were the ones that you have to write directly one and I didn't like the idea of not being able to change them. SO I just put some washi on them and cut around the edge and look how cute they are. Sharpies work great to write on washi also Paper-mate Flair markers work well.
I use washi to decorate everything when I have parties. I use them on straws, to decorate cups or milk glasses, on invitations. The possibilities are endless. I love details and washi tape makes a big impact in my opinion.
I used washi to add the little flag on the sail boats. You can read more about this party here.
I use washi to decorate outgoing mail. I seem to always be mailing something. Who doesn't love to get something cute in your mail box.
I use washi to craft with. One of my favorite things is to add it to clothes pins.
I like to use washi tape as stickers. The polkadots are washi tape. I have a tutorial here on how I do that.
I am always looking for ways to use washi tape. I will update you when I find other uses. In the mean time let me know some of your favorite ways you use it.
